A
typical adult male Tibetan mastiff, when standing, can reach 68cm in
shoulderheight(the height from ground to
scapula, not including length and thickness of hair) and about 50
kilograms in weight; an adult female mastiff is usually 40kg heavy and
63cm long. Only a small number of male dogs can reach the height of 74cms,
and fewer over 77cms. The weight of mastiff is not fixed and is affected
by many factors, but mastiffs of this height can weigh 68-80 kilograms,
some female dogs in great size can become 68cms high and 62kgs heavy.
Although mastiffs that are over 80cms high and about 80kgs heavy are
declared to have been spotted, there have not been any evidences of
pictures or documents.
